Drink Water, Lemon Water, or Tea

The first step in a healthier you and to lose weight is to cut out all the sugar drinks. That means no more soda, kool-aid, and fruit juices full of sugar. Here is a picture of what I drink now! I filter my water and keep it cold for drinking all day, and when I want to change things up I add fresh squeezed lemons! The lemon water is a very healthy drink because it pulls the toxins out of your body.

You can also drink lots of flavored teas as shown in the picture. I warm my water up in a coffee pot so I can avoid the microwave. The most important thing to remember is never to add sugar, if you need something sweet add honey. When buying honey make sure you look at the ingredients. The only ingredient should be honey... nothing else. It is best to get local honey that has not been heat sealed, which will also help your allergies.

If you can't have honey add "Raw Agave Nectar" instead.

  1. I love Raw Agave Nectar! Great tips. I have also found that not drinking diet sodas is important too. For some people (like me) the artificial sweeteners can play tricks on the chemicals in your body, making you want to eat more than you actually need to. Since the artificial sweeteners (like Splenda, Equal, etc.) are actually sweeter than real sugar, they make you crave sweeter foods too. I've cut them out a few times and I'm actually starting again today :)
